This recipe has been adapted from a similar recipe by Jessica Sepel, a passionate clinical nutritionist who helps people regain their health through food!
2 tbsp. chia seed
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or water)
1/2 mashed banana
1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder (Pea, Whey or vegan)
1.5 tsp. raw cacao powder
1 tsp. vanilla bean paste
4 strawberries, washed and quatered
Chopped nuts of your choice (optional)
- Place the chia seeds in a small bowl and cover with 1/3 of a cup of almond milk (or water). Place in the fridge for 10 minutes until it becomes jelly like. Give it a little stir at 5 minutes
- Add, mashed banana, protein powder, cacao, vanilla bean paste and a splash of almond milk (or water). Stir until combined. You may need to add more almond milk (or water). Let it sit in the fridge for a further 5 minutes
- Top with strawberries and chopped nuts and enjoy!
